We are excited to announce more

“Introduction to Drop Spindle Spinning Workshops”!

Radical Homemaker will be coming to:

  1. Perth Library – Tuesday, March 27, 2023 From 1-4pm (3 hr)
  2. Umiujaq School and Community Centre – Mar-Apr (2 weeks)
  3. Carleton Place Library – Saturday, April 22, 2023 From 1-4pm (3 hr)
  4. Unraveled in Perth – TBD in June 2023 (3 hr)

These workshops are for those who have always wanted to learn how to make their own yarn.

Participants will learn how to prep both fibre and drop spindle, spin, and ply.

Participants will be receiving a Basic Drop Spindle Kit to keep after the workshop.

Workshops are geared for 16 yrs and older, unless a parent is also signed up.*

Physical and Allergy Warning: This Workshop does require the use of both arms and hands, while sitting and watching a spinning spindle. Working with sheep wool and maple wood drop spindles.
